Myths are commonly created by newbies in the seo world , who hear a word from here and there and decide to spread the nasty word thinking they'll look "cool" and "savvy" , in the end we know who they really are .
So Let's Begin !
Buy huge numbers of backlinks ! It's good for SEO !
You've got spam!
WRONG ! This is what makes me most angry . Seo -as I said before (you might wanna read this.)- is a simple equation of 1+1=2 . It's the regular operations that you make to turn your blog / website into a famous one .What's Wrong With It ? This is wrong because creating huge amounts of backlinks is obviously SPAMMY ! Do you think that google is stupid ? No no no I tell you.
As example : Autobacklinks . Sites that allow you to make thousands of backlinks make low quality ones and big quantities of them . So as I told you , it's bad for your website .

Doesn't it feel a bit wrong ? Or a lot wrong ? Google dismiss these kind of websites / pages instantly ! Because they don't give any value to the reader / visitor ."Hey ! An expert told me that my keyword should be repetitive in my articles .. I'll just put it anywhere (or everywhere) ." "I have very good plans. Alaa's plans are very good . Everybody good plans Alaa" .
1. He'll leave within seconds (the visitor).
2. You're going nowhere on google but the sandbox.
3.NEVER think that google is stupid.

| Duplicate Content is never a solution ! |
Duplicate Content or even spinned content is a bit 1821 SEO . I know , that doesn't exist , So does this , It doesn't work. If you look for content , you better better make a high quality one . Try to write it yourself (if you have time) Or hire a professional (it's better) , for a good price you'll find some good writers on Fiverr (As Example). Finally , Duplicate content is the last thing you'd want to think of if you want to optimize your website for google .
Low quality pages

If it's a Landing page or just a page with low quality content, in seo world, it's a low quality page. The rumor says(or said) that it's OK for google. Actually it was true, for a while, before this 2014 Panda Update, after this last one, search results really changed! Lot of sales pages were down in google results! So You'd Want to make a high quality page.
Oh ! One thing will do the job !

The title might not be that clear but I'll give you an example : Good Content Will do the job ! WRONG -as Forbes said - One thing isn't enough . Creating high quality articles is very good . But it's only one part of the job . Where have you forgotten the other parts ? It's like making a cake with sugar only .
Your website has to be submitted to search engines !

If you're still living in 2001 , yes . Not the case for Seo 2014 or even Seo 2015 ! Submissions are no more needed and it definitely doesn't affect your search engine rankings.

Some "savvy" people said that "because of the excessive spammy use of backlinks , google doesn't care about it anymore ." BIG FAT LIAR I say ! (or stupid?) Any Seo expert can not imagine his work without backlinks . Always make sure you create your backlinks as usual .. not too spammy .. and not too ignoring ..
Nofollow Links Are Useless !

Nofollow backlinks are marked as "rel=nofollow" , it doesn't has much value as Dofollow backlinks because they do not transmit nothing , no PageRank . Who said they aren't important ?
Have 0 Nofollow link directly means that your website isn't working "normal" , which leads google to think that it's spammy . And you know the happy ending of that :)
Well those were only 9 myths , you might be wondering ..

Don't worry , being confused isn't surprising , since some facts may were proven wrong the last few minutes you were reading this . (try to re-read the article for better understanding)
Just Remember : Google loves normal working sites . Create a few backlinks everyday, not too much, not too little. Don't forget the daily process to make several kinds of backlinks (web2.0 profiles , bookmark backlinks , blog comments..)
